This cultivar is a self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Frances Williams' and is a sibling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' from the same batch of seeds. It is a non-registered plant from Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan that grows into a large size mound (17 inches high by 32 inches wide). The leaves are light yellow in color.
