Hosta 'Chances Are'

This blue-green colored cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Chet Tompkins of Oregon but registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. A giant size, slug-resistant hosta is of the H. 'Sieboldiana'-type in leaf and flowers. The foliage is moderately corrugated, slightly cupped, nearly round and has a glaucous bloom on top. It produces funnel shaped, near white flowers in dense clusters from mid-June into July.

Chet also originated a hosta called H. 'Chances Aint'.
