Hosta 'Chartreuse Wedge'

A self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Green Wedge' (Shaw) , this cultivar was registered by Paul Aden of New York in 1976. It is a large size plant with broadly ovate leaves and pale lavender flowers from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Despite being introduced nearly thirty years ago, 'Chartreuse Wedge' remains a scarce commodity. I've only seen a few specimens over the years."
