Hosta 'Chartreuse Wedge'

A self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Green Edge', this cultivar was registered by Paul Aden in 1976. It is a large plant with broadly ovate leaves and pale lavender flowers in mid-July to August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Despite being introduced nearly thirty years ago, 'Chartreuse Wedge' remains a scarce commodity. I've only seen a few specimens over the years."

Similar cultivars include H. 'Elatior', H. 'Green Wedge' and H. Sum and Substance'.

Seedlings include H. 'Green Dragonet', H. 'Green Sheen' and H. 'Isle Royal'.
