Hosta 'Cloudburst'

This open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Glory' was originated by Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio and registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2006. The medium size clump grows to about 16 inches in height with a spread of 33 inches. Leaves come to a distinct point and have thick substance. It bears pale purple flowers starting in late June.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...I selected it in 2005 for its attractive blue-green foliage color, unruly habit, and thick substance."
