Hosta 'Color Festival'

Registered in 2007 by Danny Van Eechaute of Belgium, this cultivar is a sport of H. 'Enterprise' and it was granted a U.S. patent in 2010. It forms a medium size mound about 13 inches tall and 20 inches wide. The leaves are slightly corrugated, slightly wavy and dull on top. Its petioles are creamy white with a green margin. In July, lavender flowers come into bloom atop scapes up to 21 inches tall.

These 2010 photos come from the Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict Hosta Hillside, tours and vendors at the 2010 American Hosta Society National Convention in Minnesota, Wade and Gatton Nursery and Wade Botanical Gardens, Toledo Botanical Garden and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
