Hosta 'Dianne'

Another of the numerous sports of H. 'August Moon', this cultivar was registered by Clarence Owens of Michigan in 1985. It grows into a medium size hosta about 17 inches in height with a spread of 33 inches. The foliage is gold in color with streaks of light yellow.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "The foliage color of 'Dianne' is unstable. Part of the specimen in the Wade & Gatton collection is beautifully streaked and mottled. The rest is all-gold, much like 'August Moon'."
