Originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan and registered on his behalf by Registrar, Kevin Walek in 2009, this cultivar has Hosta venusta in its background. It grows into a small size hosta about 6 inches in height with a spread of 22 inches. The plant has ovate shaped green foliage that is slightly rippled and slightly shiny on top. It bears purple flowers in July but the seed set was unknown at the time of registration.
