Hosta 'Gala'

This self-pollinated seedling from H. 'Tardiflora' was registered by Paul Aden of New York in 1978. It forms a medium size mound about 15 inches tall by 35 inches wide. The leaves are narrowly ovate with long, thin tip and are narrowly rippled along the margin. Its flowers are in a narrow funnel shape with a pale purple color. They bloom in tight clusters from mid-August into September.
