This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered by B. Peter Brandt-SØrheim of New York in 2000. It is a small size hosta around 6 inches high by 17 inches wide with medium green foliage. Pale purple flowers bloom from July into August.

The Hosta Journal, (2006 Vol. 37 No. 2), in an article about flower characteristics stated that this cultivar has "...reddish purple flower buds on glaucous scapes.. ."
