A sport of an
Hosta sieboldiana
hybrid, this cultivar was introduced by
Chet Tompkins and was
registered by Peter Ruh in
2002. This plant forms a
large (26 inches high) mound of 'Elegans' type
foliage that is heavily corrugated and has thick substance. Near white flowers
bloom in mid June to early July.
Similar cultivars include H. 'Aurora
Borealis', Hosta sieboldiana
'Frances Williams' and H. 'Samuri'.
