Hosta 'Gold Cover'

This cultivar is a hybrid of two unnamed seedlings which was registered by Dr. Kevin Vaughn of Massachusetts in 1982. It is a small size plant with medium gold colored foliage. The leaves are slightly corrugated, cupped and ovate in shape. Medium lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...makes a neat, low ground cover. Though a top-quality plant, it has never achieved much popularity."
