Paul Aden
registered this cross of H. 'Tokudama
Aureonebulosa' and H. 'Golden Prayers' in 1978. Growing into
a medium sized (18 inches high) mound, it has intensely corrugated leaves that
have thick substance. Near white flowers appear in late June to
mid July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis
(2009), "Do not confuse this cultivar with 'American Gold
Cup', Rosedale Golden Cup', or 'Brill's Gold Cup' (now 'Monica's
Golden Crinkles')."
