This slow growing sport of H. 'Bright Lights' is a non-registered cultivar from Jan van den Top of the Netherlands. It forms a medium to large size (18 inches high by 49 inches wide) mound of thick substanced, very broadly ovate, moderately corrugated, cupped foliage. Very pale lavender flowers that bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...differs from its mother plant by a wider blue-green margin..."

From the Field Guide to Hostas by Mark Zilis (2014), "With its ample seed pod formation,...should be a useful breeding plant."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "Divide frequently to prevent reversion to all-blue leaves. Robust but slow to increase...Differs from the parent in having a definite differentiation between the wide margin and the base color. Has exaggeratedly mucronate leaf tips."
