Hosta 'Krossa Cream Edge'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was originated by Gus Krossa of Michigan and registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1997. The small size (10 inches high) plant of H. sieboldii type foliage produces purple flowers in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This cultivar was long known as 'Cream Edge', but other plants have also borne that name. One such plant (now 'Fisher's Cream Edge') is a much larger 'Fortunei' type."
