Hosta 'Legacy of Corydon'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2017, this large size (24 inches high by 50 inches wide)  cultivar is an upright growing seedling of H. 'Great Expectations' × H. 'Sagae'. The foliage is slightly blue-green, broadly ovate, slightly folded, corrugated and dull on top. Medium lavender flowers with light lavender stripes bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 40 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was not known at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...Slight glaucous bloom gives an almost plastic appearance to the leaves. Very regal presentation...slightly lighter shade of blue-green as season progresses."
