Hosta 'Libby'

A cross of H. 'Beatrice' x H. 'Katrina Jo', this cultivar was registered by Frank Nyikos in 2003. It forms a medium mound about a foot tall with a spread of around 3 feet. The leaves are narrowly ovate, wavy, of good substance and have a thick underside bloom. It bears lavender flowers in August.

These summer 2012 photos come from the several botanical gardens, nurseries and the vendors, tour gardens and leaf show at The American Hosta Society convention in Nashville, Tennessee.
