Hosta 'Lily Blue Eyes'

George Donsky registered this hybrid of H. 'Salute' × H. 'Azure Snow' in 2007. The plant grows into a small size hosta about 10 inches in height with blue-green foliage. Its leaves are oval, slightly wavy with a serrated edge and is unruly. Pale lavender flowers bloom from July into August.

The Book of Little Hostas by Kathy and Michael Shadrack (2010) says: "The glaucous bloom is lost in direct sunlight, so an ideal hosta for the woodland garden."
