Hosta 'Mama's Gold'

This medium size hosta (16 inches high by 28 inches wide) is a seedling of H. ventricosa. It was registered by Ron Snyder of Minnesota in 1999. The golden yellow leaves change to greenish yellow as the season progresses. Pure White flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...unusual in being descended from H. ventricosa and producing pure white flowers and gold foliage. Plants that I observed...did not match the description."
