Hosta 'Mayan Moon'

One of the many sports of H. 'August Moon', this cultivar was introduced by Bill Mitchell of Pennsylvania and registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It forms a medium size (18 inches high by 40 inches wide) mound of moderately corrugated, broadly ovate foliage. The plant bears pale lavender flowers from mid-July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This was the first green-centered gold-edged sport of 'August Moon' to be introduced."
