Hosta 'Memories of Dorothy'
 

This cross between (H. 'Dorothy Benedict' × H. pycnophylla) × H. montana 'Aureomarginata' was registered by Hideko Gowen of Minnesota in 2002. It is medium size (17 inches high by 42 inches wide) plant and has deeply veined and slightly wavy leaves. Pale lavender flowers on 32 inch tall scapes bloom from late July to August followed by viable seeds.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "The seasonal, subtle tonal contrasts make this hosta a worthy contender for a place in every collection."
