Hosta 'Nameoki'

There is an image of this cultivar on the Hosta Library. From the photo on the HL website, it appears to be an upright growing, small to medium size hosta with wavy green leaves. It has H. capitata in its background. This non-registered cultivar was originated by Karel Hensen of the Netherlands (1985).

"Plant was named as a separate taxon by Hensen (1985). It originated in North America, probably with Gus Krossa, and differs from H. 'Nakaimo' by a slightly smaller leaf size. It may be the same plant or a very similar clone with an incorrectly formulated name."

One reference is that Nameoki is a place in Illinois.
