This hosta is an H. venusta seedling that was purchased from a nursery in Japan by Mark Zilis of Illinois and registered by him in 2011. It grows to a miniature size with a height of about 5 inches and a 16 inch spread. The leaves are medium green with a creamy white marginal variegation, ovate, moderately wavy and dull on top. It bears tubular, medium purple flowers from June into July.
