This plant is the result of a cross of an unnamed seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' × H. montana macrophylla. It was registered in 2000 by Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio. A medium to large size plant, it has slightly wavy green leaves with marginal variegation that changes from yellow to creamy white as the season progresses. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.
