Registered by the originator Joanna Kovalcsik of Michigan in 2020, this cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of an unnamed hosta from the cross of (H. 'Green Piecrust' × H. 'Big John'). It is a large size hosta about 23 inches high by 51 inches wide with blue-green foliage.

The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly rippled at the margins, slightly cupped, wavy and corrugated. They have white backs and deeply impressed veins. Near white flowers with pale lavender stripes bloom from late June into July on scapes around 27 inches tall followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "When scapes emerge, the plush grey-blue leaves are complemented by large bud clusters reminiscent of roses. Classic, elegant and very fertile...Emerges intense silvery grey-blue changing to grey-green by August."

According to Joanna, "This large hybrid is such a beauty. The ample leaves are heavily coated with silver. If weather conditions are right, the celery-colored bracts may blush mauve giving the spiky bud clusters a rose-like appearance. Extremely fertile both ways.
