Hosta 'Pegasus'

 

This cultivar which is a sport of H. 'Undulata Univittata' was registered by Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2001. It is a small size plant about 10 inches high by 20 inches wide with green foliage that has narrow, pure white to creamy medial (center) variegation. The leaves are slightly corrugated, moderately cupped and very shiny on the bottom. Pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from late June into July.

In Greek mythology, Pegasus is a winged horse.
