This hybrid of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' x a seedling of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' was registered
by
Stuart Asch in 2005. Forming a 10 inch high mound that spreads
about 32 inches wide, this plant has leaves that are ovate
shaped and slightly wavy. Its pale purple flowers bloom starting

According to
The Hostapedia by
Mark Zilis (2009), "...notable for its combination of
deep red scapes (bearing purple flowers)...it bears no
resemblance to a Hosta
sieboldiana in foliage or flower."
