Hosta 'Reiho Nishiki'

This non-registered hosta is a sport of H. montana which was found in Japan by Kenji Watanabe. It is a plant with green leaves and a yellow medial (center) variegation. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

Mikiko Lockwood in an article on The Hosta Library titled, A Little About Japanese Hosta Terms defines the term nishiki as brocade (rich-colored woven fabric) i.e. something colorful and beautiful.
