A hybrid of H. 'Green Fountain' × an unnamed seedling, this cultivar was registered by Ken Terpening of New York in 2005. It is a medium size plant about 17 inches high with a spread of around 36 inches. The dark green foliage is shiny, narrowly elliptic and heavily rippled with a serrated margin. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late August into September.

From the Field Guide to Hostas by Mark Zilis (2014), "...sets itself apart from all other hostas by its long, thin tip that curls under, sometimes completely reversing direction...makes an interesting conversation piece in the shade garden and should be a good breeding plant."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "The long, thin curl extending from the leaf tip. Exceptionally long and narrow flower buds and inflorescence leaves."
