Hosta 'Rocky Mountain High'

This hybrid of H. 'Crispula' × H. 'Sieboldiana' was registered by Bob Kuk of Kuk's Forest in Ohio in 1991. It forms a medium size (16 inches high by 16 inches wide) plant with green foliage that has a yellowish marginal variegation. The leaves are slightly rippled, broadly ovate and moderately corrugated. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July. It forms many seed pods.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "A superb plant and one of the few introductions involving H. 'Crispula'. Deserves to be better known."
