Hosta 'Rosedale Marsha Axmear Erb'

This hybrid of H. 'Galaxy' × H. 'Fragrant Bouquet' was registered by Jerry Hadrava of Iowa in 1999 as part of his Rosedale Series. It forms a clump about 9 inches high with a spread of around 30 inches. The dark green leaves have yellow marginal variegation with yellow streaks and blotches. Its foliage is slightly wavy, has smooth texture and average substance. Very pale purple flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...tends to stabilize to a gold-margined, green-centered form."

Named for fellow Iowa hosta hybridizer, Marsha Axmear Erb.
