Hosta 'Topaz Tiara'

This sport of H. 'Grand Tiara' was registered by Walters Gardens, Inc. of Michigan in 1998. It grows into a medium size hosta about 13 inches high with a spread of 33 inches. The green leaves have a wide medial (center) variegation in chartreuse. They are wavy, a bit unruly and have good substance. Medium purple flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...is the tetraploid equivalent of 'Emerald Tiara' from the 'Golden Tiara' group of sports."
