Hosta 'Atypical Blonde'

Registered by Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2017, this cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Elegans' × H. 'Sea Gulf Stream'. This small to medium size (10 inches high by 24 inches wide) is greenish yellow in color. The leaves are slightly shiny on the bottom, slightly folded, dull on top and corrugated. Near white flowers with a very light lavender striping bloom from June into July on scapes up to 24 inches tall. It sets seeds but their viability was undetermined at the time of registration.

The registration materials state: "...Lightly corrugated and wavy...turns more yellow as season progresses."
