PGC-T-Celtis-occidentalis-Eyestopper-2010-01.JPG-2This genus consists of about 70 species found in several areas of the world. Hackberry trees are being used more for street trees than in the past. As a landscape tree, they lack fall color or other characteristics that would set them apart from other available genera. Their leaves are often distorted by the hackberry psyllid.
