Dyer's Greenweed

This genus of over 120 species consists mostly of deciduous trees and shrubs. Since it is a member of the Legume Family (Fabaceae), its flowers are small, pea-like yellow blooms. Some of the species have the common name "broom" although this is also shared with members of some other genera. Most types are native to areas of Russia and Western Asia.
