Pink flowers, ½-1 inch wide, borne in
terminal 2 flowered clusters
Summer
Basal, 2-3 inches wide deeply 5 lobed, lobes
sharply cut, pubescent. The petioles are 4-10
inches long. In cool moist climates, such as the
Pacific Northwest, the foliage is evergreen
otherwise the foliage is deciduous in cold
winter climates.
