Northern Europe

8-10 inches basal foliage with flower stems up to 18 inches. The spread is 24 inches.
Small, yellowish-green or chartreuse flowers are borne in compound cymes. The ¼ inch flowers have regular symmetry, are apetalous and have 4 or 5 sepals.
Late spring to early summer
Basal leaves, orbicular veined and have from silk-like pubescence and 2-4 inches wide. Individual leaves have 7 to 11 shallow toothed lobes. The silken leaves will sparkle when drops of rain or dew collect on the leaves.
There are normally no major problems, especially in Northern areas. In climates with hot nights, fungal problems may result when rain or irrigation water collects in the depression of the leaves and tight crowns.
