Spathe is light
green and terminates in a long, ascending
projection that looks like a yellow whip. Orange
berries.

Very similar to
Jack in the Pulpit (A.
triphyllum) except that green dragon has
only one large, compound leaf that is divided
into 7 to 15 lance shaped leaflets that resemble
a dragon's claw. It also has a greenish spadix
which is narrower and tapers upward.
