- Called the Fall Astilbe due to its late flower season. The cultivar 'Superba' has deep lilac flowers and is 3-4 feet tall.
'Purplelanze' - purple-red flowers.
'Veronica Klose' - Similar to 'Pumila' but the inflorescence is denser and darker pink.
