Alternate, simple, 1 to 2” long, 3/4 to 1 1/2” wide, glandular, broad-ovate, rounded or slightly heart shaped, pointed, double serrate, dull dark green and slightly hairy above, paler and glabrous below, 3 to 5 vein pairs; petiole-1/4 to 1/2” long, at first hairy, finally glabrous.
