Multiple-branched with wiry stems
2-3 feet tall
Daisy flowers borne in loose panicles, on long, slender peduncles. Dark red or purple disc flowers and yellow, orange, or crimson ray flowers. There are usually 8 rays in the single varieties.
Early to midsummer bloom
Opposite leaves, usually twice divided into linear-lanceolate segments. 2-4 inches long. The leaves are very finely cut.
 
Performs well in full sun, well-drained soils and hot weather.
