Daphne x burkwoodii Burkwood Daphne 5 Hybrid Origin   6 feet Very fragrant flowers are creamy white to flushed pink and borne in dense terminal clusters 2 inches wide May         Red berries   Very vigorous growing and freely blooming plant 'Somerset' - Wayside Gardens of Mentor, Ohio, patented it in 1939. 4 feet tall and 6 feet wide, very rounded and densely growing.   Hybrid (D. caucasica x D. cneorum) about 1935 by Messrs. Burkwood and Skipwith of Kingston-on-Thames, England.
