Flowers
are composed of large blue cones surrounded by
frilled blue involucral bracts. The bracts are
feather-like compared to the stiff bracts on
other sea holly.
'Amethyst' - metallic blue flowers. 30-36 inches tall.
'Blue Star' - deep
blue inflorescence
'Opal' - Similar to 'Amethyst', only shorter at 2 feet.
'Superbum' - Dark blue flowers, 24-36 inches tall.
