profuse, large white blossoms emerge from pink buds, long flowering period
 
glossy dark green
yellow in fall
 
 
1/2 inch or less in diameter, glossy orange-red, eaten by birds after being softened by frost
Tolerant of scab. Moderately susceptible to fireblight.
 

Introduced in 1965 in Ohio.
