6-8 inches tall and 6 inches wide.
Tiny light blue flowers with yellow centers, 1/5 inch wide, borne in loose terminal racemes. Corolla is rotate to salver form and 5 lobed calyx is 5 lobed.
Spring is the peak sporadic flowering until midsummer.
Alternate, simple and entire, oblong-linear to oblong lanceolate, mostly sessile
 

  • var. alba - White flowers
  • 'Blue Ball' - Round plants with indigo blue flowers
  • 'Victoria Blue' - Gentian blue flowers, early flowering.
  • 'Victoria Rose' - Pink flowers, early flowering.
 
Myosotis is from the Greek words mus, mouse and ous, ear and refers to the mouse-like shape of the leaves.
