Sprawling to erect plant
6-24 inches tall
The 1-2 inches diurnal flowers are borne in the axils of the upper leaves. There are 4 white to pinkish petals. The flower color usually starts white and matures to pink. The flower buds appear to nod.
Summer
Alternate leaves, linear to lanceolate, to 3 inches long. The leaves are remotely dentate or pinnately lobed and have a soft pubescence.
