Many of these cultivars came from the famous Lemoine Nursery in Nancy, France.
  • 'Albatre' (P. x virginalis) - 5 feet tall, double flowers, slightly fragrant introduced by Lemoine in 1914.
  • 'Argentine' (P. x virginalis) - 4 feet tall, double flowers with up to 32 petals, very fragrant, introduced by Lemoine in 1914.
  • 'Aureus' (P. curonarius) - 5 feet tall, bright yellow spring foliage.
  • 'Avalanche' (P. x lemoinei) - 4 feet tall, single, very fragrant flowers and arching form.   
  • 'Danniire' (P. x cymosus) - 7 feet tall, semi-double, fragrant flowers on a straggly shrub, introduced by Lemoine in 1907.
  • 'Belle Etoile' (P. x lemoinei) - 6 feet tall, single, fragrant flowers on a shrub with an arching habit, introduced by Lemoine in 1925.
  • 'Boule d'Argent' (P. x lemoinei) - 5 feet tall, double, slightly fragrant flowers 2 inches in diameter, introduced by Lemoine in 1894.
  • 'Bouquet Blanc' (P. x virginalis) - 6 feet tall, single to slightly double flowers, rounded form, introduced by Lemoine.
  • 'Burford' (P. x virginalis) - 9 feet tall, single to semi-double flowers, originated in England in 1921.
  • 'Cole's Glorious' (P. x virginalis x 'Rosace') - 6 feet tall, single, 2 inch diameter flowers, very fragrant, introduced by Cole Nursery Co., Painesville, Ohio.
  • 'Conquete' (P. x cymosus) - 6 feet tall, single flowers 2 inches in diameter, very fragrant, introduced by Lemoine in 1903.
  • 'Erectus' (P. x temoinei) - 4 feet tallo, large, single, fragrant flowers, erect habit, introduced by Lemoine.
  • 'Fleur de Neige' (P. x lemoinei) - 4 feet tall, single, very fragrant flowers introduced by Lemoine.
  • 'Frosty Morn' - 4 feet tall, very fragrant, double flowers, very cold hardy to Zone 3.
  • 'Girandole' (P. x lemoinei) - 4 feet tall, large, double flowers, fragrant, introduced by Lemoine In 1916.
  • 'Glacier' (P. x virginalis) - 5 feet tall, huge, double flowers, fragrant, introduced by Lemoine in 1914.
  • 'Innocence' (P. x lemoinei) - 8 feet tall, huge, single flowers, extremely fragrant, introduced by Lemoine in 1927.
  • 'Minnesota Snowflake' (P. x virginalis) - 6 feet tall, double flowers, very cold hardy to -30 F for Northern gardens.
  • 'Mont Blanc' (P. x lemoinei) - 4 feet tall, vary large, very fragrant single flowers, very hardy to Zone 4.
  • 'Nonna' (P. x cymosus) - 6 feet tall, very large, single, fragrant flowers introduced by Lemoine In 1914.
  • 'Perle Blanche' (P. x cymosus) - 6 feet tall, single flowers, very fragrant, introduced by Lemoine in 1900.
  • 'Virginal' (P. x virginalis) - 9 feet tall, double, 2 inch diameter flowers introduced by Lemoine 1907.
