Individual plants with one stem colonize to create a groundcover effect.
12-18 inches tall and 12 inches wide
Foul smelling, white flowers are solitary and nodding and are borne on the fork between the two leaves. Flowers usually have 6 petals. A yellow ovoid-shaped berry, 1-2 inches long, follows the flower.
Early to mid spring
Two pale green leaves are borne at the top of the flowering stem. The leaf may measure 12 inches in diameter and has 5-9 palmately arranged lobes. The lobes are oblong and usually 2-cleft and dentate at the apex.
