Stiffly upright large shrub or small tree, of a bushy, rounded nature.
15-20 feet (up to 25 feet) tall with a similar spread.
Flowers are small, greenish-white, borne in terminal corymbs, not important.
June
Leaves are alternate, trifoliolate, each leaflet being 2˝-5 inches long, narrowed at ends, entire, lustrous dark green in color.
Fall color is yellow-green.
 
 
Fruit is a broadly winged, roundish, light brown samara, somewhat resembling hops, ripening in September
