Erect perennial plant habit resembles the hollyhock.
2-4 feet tall
The pink-rose or watermelon pink flowers are borne in a terminal raceme. Individual flowers are 2-3 inches wide and have shallow bowl shapes.
Summer
The alternate leaves are of two types. The basal leaves are glossy green and round or they may be shallowly 7-9 lobed. The stem leaves are deeply lobed with narrow segments.
 
 
  • 'Elsie Heugh' - Light pink flowers, fringed
    petals, 2-2˝ feet tall.
  • 'Loveliness' - Shell-pink flowers, 30 inches tall.
  • 'Mrs. Alderson' - Large rose-pink flowers, 3-4 feet tall.
  • 'Oberon' - Soft rose-pink flowers on 30 inches tall stems.
  • 'Puck' - Dwarf cultivar, 2 feet tall with clear pink flowers.
  • 'Rose Queen' - Rose-pink flowers. 4 feet tall.
  • 'Stark's Hybrid' - Rose-red flowers, 4 feet tall.
  • 'Sussex Beauty' - Satiny pink flowers, 3-4 feet tall.
  • 'William Smith' - Salmon-pink flowers, profuse bloomer, 3 feet tall.
