Very prostrate habit

Rose-purple flowers, 3/16 inches long, are borne in the leaf axils.
Late spring to early summer
Small leaves, elliptic or obovate, ⅛ inch long, densely pubescent, margin has long-ciliate hairs.
 
 
  • 'Hall's variety' - Rose purple flowers and pubescent leaves. Woolly thyme is very grey whereas Hall's variety tends to be greener.
